4-H programs provide a variety of opportunities to learn, lead and serve, and they provide the setting for fun, lasting friendships and memorable adventures. We are proud to offer a different variety that includes adults helping youth. Check out the different activities below!
2025 Henderson County 4-H Quilt Block Contest
How to enter your block for the contest

It is time for the Henderson County 4-H Ham Project! In partnership with Volunteer Meats, we had a successful year with this project last year and look forward to doing so much more with them. This year, we will be curing two hams and a pork belly. Students will have their choice of sugar or salt curing. One ham and a small portion of bacon (if they choose) will be sold at auction. Student will keep half of the proceeds! We will meet at Volunteer Meats approximately 5 times throughout the summer, starting sometime in May. Due to limited space, we can only accept 5 students on a first come- first serve basis. Money is due by May 1, 2025. Please come by the office to sign up!
