4-H Chick Chain Participants Announced!
Winners have been announced for the 2025 Chick Chain Project! We had a great response to the chick chain this year. We had @ 60 applications, but unfortunately have only 35 spots to fill. We are keeping all applications in case the winners drawn may or may not be able to take their chicks. At that time, we will call the next in line. For the students drawn, preferential breeds are a first come, first serve based on the return of the contract to us. Please write in your preferred breed ranked first to last and send via email to jtayl208@utk.edu. Below is a downloadable pdf that you may fill out. Pickup is scheduled for March 17-21, 2025. You will be notified via the TeamReach app as to approximate delivery and pickup times.

These students will care for 20 chicks and will be having the Chick Chain Show and Sale the Monday night of Fair Week 2025 in Henderson County! Make sure to come out and support these youth and their Poultry Project.
