Henderson County Fair News
As you may know, the Henderson County Fair is just around the corner! We are busy here in our office trying to get prepared for all things Fair Time right now. We hope your students and adults alike will bring exhibits to the fair to be entered. Our 4-H youth get points for everything they exhibit in the fair and those are added with their activities during 4-H throughout the year to attend a field trip to Loe Oaks Farms in Late April. Only the top 3 teams will get to go, so we hope they get active in 4-H for sure! All the kids love the trip and who don’t love field trips. Its time again for the 4-H Breadbaking Contest to be held at the fair!!
4th grade: Corn Bread
6th: Biscuits
7th: Fruit Breads
8th: Chocolate Chip Cookies
9th-12th: Iced Cakes
Bring 3 food items to be judged on a paper plate( except cakes) and include a list of ingredients. We ask that food items
be brought to the Henderson County Fair and entered on Sept. 8th before 10 AM. Judging will start at 10 AM.

The Fall Festival will have a new friend this year! Henderson County 4-H is hosting the 1st Annual Clover Classic October 18, 2025, beside the courthouse. Get the cars shined up and drive on down to see us. We ask that you pre-register by scanning the QR code or by giving us a call at 731-968-5266. It is only $25 for the first car and $15 for each additional car/truck. Come celebrate the season with Henderson County! Attendance is completely FREE!
