There are many opportunities in 4-H for the senior high students. Sr. High students can be members of the 4-H Honor Club and the Regional All Stars. Students may meet with groups of students with similar interest known as project groups. 4-H Congress
Congress is for 9th – 10th graders. It is held annually at the Tennessee State Capitol and Embassy Suites hotel in Murfreesboro, TN. 4-H members learn first hand how bills become law and actually oppose/ support mock laws in the legislative chambers. It is a wonderful experience and full of education, citizenship, and most of all, it is a boatload of fun. Come see Mrs. Brenda or Ms. Shelby to get your trip to 4-H Congress!

4-H Roundup

Calling all 11th & 12th grade students as well as first year college students! This is a month long camp held in Knoxville June 1-26, 2026. Travel will be provided each week.
This 4-week Smart Ag Camp, sponsored by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) is an exciting, innovative educational program and a rare opportunity that provides drone flight training and hands-on engineering projects to all the participants. Supervised by scientists and specialists at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville (UTK), participants will learn about the newest information in AI, work in teams on smart ag projects, and experience the fascinating drone technology through competitions.
All costs will be covered by UTK and USDA. However, parents of each participant are responsible for transporting their children to the UTK campus or to the pick-up/drop locations along I-40 (See “Transportation” below). There is a $100 refundable deposit per participate required. Once applicants have been chosen to participate in the camp, an invoice will be sent. This is due May 15. The deposit will be refunded upon the conclusion of the program June 26.
Applicants will need to fill out the Application for AI in Ag by March 31, 2026. Applications will be reviewed by program staff members the first week of April. Notifications of acceptance will be sent out by May 1.
